Sustainability Vision 2027
Our roadmap to regenerative fashion that heals the planet
By 2027, NOWIHT will operate as a fully regenerative business—meaning our impact on the planet will be net positive. We won't just do less harm; we'll actively restore ecosystems, enrich communities, and prove fashion can be a force for healing.
This isn't greenwashing or vague aspirations. Every goal has measurable targets, quarterly milestones, and public accountability. We're building the fashion industry our planet deserves.

The Five Pillars of Our Vision
Pillar 1
Circular Material Economy
Linear "take-make-waste" models end in 2027. Every material we use will either be renewable, recycled, or regeneratively sourced.
- —100% organic cotton from regenerative farms
- —Take-back program: old pieces recycled into new fiber
- —100% recyclable & compostable packaging—our mailer bags can be composted at home, recycled, or reused
- —Zero virgin synthetic fibers
Pillar 2
Regenerative Agriculture
Cotton farming that restores soil health, increases biodiversity, and sequesters carbon. We partner with farms transitioning from conventional to regenerative practices.
By 2027, 100% of our cotton will come from farms using cover cropping, no-till methods, crop rotation, and integrated livestock—practices that turn farms into carbon sinks.
Pillar 3
Social Equity
Sustainability without justice isn't sustainability. By 2027, every person in our supply chain earns a living wage with benefits, safe conditions, and opportunities for advancement.
- —Living wages above industry average
- —Women-focused employment initiatives
- —Ongoing community support programs
- —Full supply chain transparency
Pillar 4
Material Innovation
We invest in R&D for next-generation sustainable materials. Our innovation efforts focus on finding alternatives to any synthetic materials currently in our products.
Current research: bio-based elastane alternatives, sustainable satin fabrics, and recycled cotton blends. By 2027, we aim to have viable natural alternatives for all product lines.
Pillar 5
Transparency & Education
We publish everything: carbon data, supplier lists, material breakdowns, and our challenges. Honest communication builds trust and drives industry change.
Beyond reporting, we educate customers about sustainable fashion through our website, product information, and garment care guides that extend product life.
Already Achieved: Zero-Waste Packaging
100% Recyclable & Compostable Shipping
We've already achieved one of our key sustainability goals: every NOWIHT order ships in packaging made from 100% natural, plant-based materials. Our mailer bags are fully recyclable, compostable in home compost, and can even be reused as regular shopping bags.
When disposed of properly, our packaging breaks down into natural components without leaving microplastics or harmful residues. This eliminates packaging waste from our environmental footprint entirely.
